Management Styles For A Manager - 1550 Words

I think that in today’s world when things become uncertain and sudden changes occur that are caused by the economy, or a high job turn over rate, or technological changes, from the environment and outside factors, it can be quit challenging for a manager. A manager in today’s business place, no matter what industry they work in, they will need to have a passion for what they are doing and their role as a manager. Managers will need to find that passion to learning the environment they are in and adjust to their new surrounding changes. Any ambiguity needs to be handled with adaptation. Managers will find they need to change their way of thinking in the changing environment and their viewpoints on the job will need some restructuring. Sometimes they need to challenge themselves to see if even they are flexible in changing with the environment and what are some areas of their management styles that they need to work on that will reach the budget goals and outcome needed b y the different areas inside the business they manage. This is a question about how I feel about having a manager’s responsibility, and although I am not a manager, I answer it with the idea of how managers in general need to think or may need to feel about their position when changes or threats from the environment come at them. This is how I would handle it or try to grow with it, if I were in a manager’s position with these types of responsibilities in the midst of the uncertainty.
